End of the Semester!
Hey guys, Andrew here from Eyja!
I know we talked about a potential show this past Thursday during Cram Jam Sessions, but it just wasn't meant to be. Our sincerest apologies.
But don't fret! We will be back next semester in January (potentially a different day and different time!) so look forward to more loopy banter and good tunes.
Some albums I liked this year:
Cut Copy - Zonoscope
Yuck - Yuck
James Blake - James Blake / Enough Thunder EP
Thundercat - The Golden Age of the Apocalypse
Justice - Audio, Video, Disco
King Krule - King Krule EP
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Belong
there were some other good albums too!
St. Vincent - Strange Mercy
CANT - Dreams Come True
Burial - Street Halo EP
Atlas Sound - Parallax
Pure X - Pleasure
Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes
The Weeknd - House of Balloons
I also went to some awesome concerts!
Yuck at Schubas in Chicago
Cut Copy at Sala Heineken in Madrid
Belle & Sebastian, Salem, Warpaint, DJ Shadow, Yuck, and James Blake were my highlights of Primavera Sound Music Festival in Barcelona
Well hope everyone is doing swell! Have a good holiday season.
Keep in touch,
Eyja

INTERN TAKEOVER
They did an amazing job, bringing funny topics across the nation (from chicagoland all the way to california!) through their wit and charm. It was truly a sight to see. Some topics include
Lindsay Lohan
Rain
And during this glorious show we stumbled upon yet ANOTHER segment to add to our show! The name is still under discussion ("Imagination time," "What do you see?", and "The song feeling segment" are just a few of the titles - dont' worry, we'll think of something better.) While listening to some song Katie played, (I honestly don't know what the song was or else I'd tell y'all!) we all described the setting, environment, and actions that developed from our minds. We came to the conclusion that Julia was the owner of some underwater swanky bar attached to an even swankier hotel, with Gabby randomly lost, Katie as a secret agent, and myself in a tuxedo on a business trip. A penguin in a tux was making me a mixed drink, an octopus was playing the piano as well as the violin, a walrus was playing the drums (made out of clams), and a seahorse played the horn. Seaweed draped the stage and pearls formed the chandeliers.
Truly a sight to see. What do you guys think? Should we run with this? Make this yet another piece of our crazy-awesome-super-duper show?! I think it'll add nicely with
GUESS THAT SOUND.
So this week the interns thought up of and created the sound. I'm sure no one will ever guess it so I'll just tell y'all now:
IT WAS KATIE PULLING OFF HER RUBBER BOOT!!

Genius, right?
So that's all I guess. Mr. Panda (Julia's USB port) is missing in action - as known as m.i.a. - and it saddens us that we can't put up the remaining shows. We're going to try to find it and get those last shows during OUR SURPRISE LAST SHOW (WAITWHAT? ITHOUGHTTHATTHEYWERE DONE>>>WELL I GUESS NOT!!)
That's right, we're going to go during Cram Jams next week and have one last show! But LISTEN LISTENERS. It will not and I repeat will not be during our regular time but instead be
THURSDAY DECEMBER 15th, 2-4pm EASTERN
So tune in as we play our last show!
Here's the playlist
